Automatic Registration
The availability of the automatic registration features is application-specific and is determined by your Administrator. If the auto-registration feature is available to you, the procedures that you follow to ensure that the auto-registration feature functions properly are determined by your working environment.
Your working environment is determined by:
- the software application
- the location of the repository in relation to the Calyx RIM Viewing repository from which you are loading submissions
Automatic registration requires an indicator file (also know as a "flag file") to signal that the submission associated with the application is either new or needs updating. Calyx RIM Viewing can then recognize that the submission should be registered, or re-registered, automatically.
The indicator file is set by your Administrator; therefore, you will need to verify this information with your Administrator. Typically, the indicator file is selected according to your working environment.
