Database (Non-LDAP) Installations

For database installations, you must supply an Calyx RIM Viewing user name and password with Administrator privileges.

Note: A default Administrator account with the username admin, and the password welcome1 is created during installation. Any subsequent user that you create requires an established, valid username and password for authentication.

At the initial launch of the Administrator console, supply the default administrator login credentials.

  1. Open your web browser.
  2. To access the Administrator console, enter (case-sensitive): http://<webserver hostname or IP address>:<port>/I4V
    • <webserver hostname or IP address> is the hostname or IP address of the Web server on which Calyx RIM Viewing is installed.
    • <port> is the port through which you can access the web server. This value is typically 8080.
  3. Enter your username and password.
  4. Click Login.
    After your login credentials are validated, you are logged on to the Administrator console.
  5. You can log out of the Administrator console by clicking Logout, which appears in the top-right corner of the page.
