Import a Group of LDAP Users

To view the LDAP Users window in the Administrator interface, you must have configured the applicable database authentication mode. Before you start with importing users, please refer the Installation Guide for applicable authentication method instructions.

  1. Click Import Users to open the LDAP Users window and click the Import Users tab.
  2. Enter the desired name for the desired group under Group domain name (dn).
    The desired name can be obtained by examining the properties of the specific group in the client's LDAP environment.
    CN=Publisher, OU=I4V Users, DC=LIQUENT, DC=local.
  3. To exclude the already imported users from being displayed, select the option Do not show imported users.
  4. Click Get Users.
    A list of users matching the search criteria is listed.
  5. Select applicable user(s) and click Import to import the selected users.
  6. Go to Edit Users to set the permissions for each account that was imported.
