Purge Comments from Comments Report

Administrators can use the Comments Report option to purge comments from a submission. Purged comments are removed from the database and cannot be retrieved. There will be an audit trail record of purged comments.

In the Comments Report view, the Purge Comments command is not active until a report with comments is generated. Only the comments displayed will be purged from the submission.

  1. Click Reports and select Comments Report.
  2. On the Comments Reports Filter tab, select the application and submission, and any additional criteria to filter the report.
  3. To view comments of the submission that fit the specified criteria, click Display.
    The comments are listed in the Comments Report Results, and the Purge Comments command is activated.
  4. To purge the listed comments, click Purge Comments.
  5. In the confirmation message, click Yes.
    All comments listed in the report from the selected submission are deleted.
