Map Roles for LDAP Authentication

Perform the following steps only if you plan to use LDAP authentication. These steps are not applicable for LDAP authentication only (hybrid authentication) mode.

  1. Locate the ldap-map.xml file.
    For Tomcat, you can find the ldap-map.xml file in the \I4V\WEB-INF\config subfolder of your Tomcat installation directory.
  2. Open the file in a text or XML editor.
  3. Add the LDAP group names that will map to the Calyx RIM Viewing Administrator, Submission Manager, Reviewer, Restricted Reviewer, and Publisher roles.
  4. If you plan to use group-based security, for each group that you will establish, enter a group name for each group attribute entered.
    The value(s) that you enter must match the group name(s) that you define when you add a group in the Administrator interface.
  5. Save and close the file.
  6. Restart the Calyx RIM Viewing application from the applicable web application server.
