Windows 7 Local Security Policy Configuration
- Go to .
- In the View by drop-down list, select Large icons.
- Click Administrative tools and then double-click Local Security Policy.
- In the left pane, select Local Policies and then double-click Security Options.
- In the list of policies that are displayed, double-click Network security: LAN Manager authentication level.
- On the Local Security Setting tab, select Send LM & NTLM responses from the list.
- Click OK.
- From the policies list, double-click Network security: Minimum session security for NTLM SSP based (including secure RPC) servers.
- Select the option Require 128-bit encryption.
- Close the Local Security Policy window.
