Calyx RIM Viewing Server
Before you install Calyx RIM Viewing, complete the following procedure.

Stop the Apache Tomcat service and delete the old
I4V.war file and
I4V folder from the path
<Tomcat root>\webapps
Note: If you are upgrading to the new version Viewing it is recommended that you make backup copies of dbconfig.properties, mailconfig.properties, license.xml, config.xml, LDAPConfig.xml and ldap-map.xml files. These files are located in the path <Apache Software Foundation>\Tomcat <version>\webapps\I4V\WEB-INF\config folder.

Copy the
struts-config.xml and
web.xml files from the
<Apache Software Foundation>\Tomcat
<version>\webapps\I4V\WEB-INF folder.
- If Documentum is configured, take backup of the dfc.properties file which is located under <Apache Software Foundation>\Tomcat <version>\webapps\I4V\WEB-INF\classes.

Remove any existing eCTDViewer Web Edition applications.
To do this, stop Apache Tomcat in the server and delete the old eCTDViewer.war file and eCTDViewer folder from the path <Tomcat root>\webapps.
- Delete the Catalina folder from the path ...\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat <version>\work.
- Verify that the account being used to install Viewing has local administrative privileges on the server machine.
- Verify that the minimum required version of the operating system is installed. Refer to the SSD for information on minimum software requisites.
- Verify that the minimum required RAM and CPU are present on the system. Refer to the SSD for information on minimum software requisites.
- Verify that Java JRE/JDK is installed. Refer to the SSD for information on minimum software requisites.
- Verify that Apache Tomcat is installed and configured. Refer to the SSD for information on minimum software requisites.

Do one of the following:
- Verify that Documentum Foundation Class is accessible. Refer to the SSD for information on minimum software requisites.
- Verify that Open Text LiveLink is accessible. Refer to the SSD for information on minimum software requisites.
- Verify that Microsoft SharePoint is accessible. Refer to the SSD for information on minimum software requisites.
