Configuring the Apache Tomcat Service Startup Type
Perform the procedure below to automatically start the Apache Tomcat service at Windows startup.
Open the
Control Panel. Double-click
Administrative Tools and select
Services.
When the
Services tool opens, select the
Apache Tomcat service from the list.
Note: It is recommended that you configure Apache Tomcat as a service to ensure that it runs automatically. If Apache is not running,
Viewing will not run.
Right-click the
Apache Tomcat service and select
Properties.
On the
General tab, change the
Startup type from
Manual to
Automatic.
