Resolved Issues: Calyx RIM Viewing 5.5 CHF 3

The following issues that were reported to Technical Support have been resolved. Issues are listed in descending order by their tracking numbers. Customer incident numbers that were recorded when the issues were reported are included in brackets [#####] following the tracking number.

Issue Description
1478; When the Display Outline Numbers check box was not selected, the module folder numbers were displayed and the names of the subfolders under TOC Section 1.3.1 for EU, GCC, and HR Regions were displayed incorrectly. This issue is resolved. The module folder numbers are now hidden when the Display Outline Numbers check box is not selected and are displayed when the Display Outline Numbers check box is selected. The subfolder names are unchanged and display correctly.

When the Discipline filter was set, additional data that was not relevant to the selected Discipline was displayed. This issue is resolved and the proper content for the selected Discipline is displayed. For more information as for the Disciplines display, refer to the Disciplines Filter topic.

In Calyx RIM Viewing 5.5 CHF 2, when an application with mixed versions of submissions was loaded, there was a delay and some application details did not display correctly in the Administration Information window. Applications without mixed versions content loaded quickly and displayed the details correctly. Calyx RIM Viewing 5.5 CHF 3 resolves this issue. Mixed content applications load quickly and the details are displayed correctly.

The Submission drop-down menu did not list all the application sequences and the sequence information was not displayed when the sequence is selected in the Navigator Search Results window. This issue is resolved.

Leaf elements were being sorted by sequence number instead of the order in which they were originally submitted. This issue is resolved.

In Calyx RIM Viewing 5.5CHF 1, the information in the Activity drop-down list was not displayed according to the related sequence number because not all of the necessary values were included. This issue is resolved. The Activity drop-down list includes the sequence number and the submission type of any sequence that does not have a related sequence number.

Registration and Recreate Cache functions failed to complete for some applications when <property name="enableFlatTOCStructure" value="true"/> was added to the config.xml file. Also, performance of the TOC view was slow. These issues are resolved.

In Calyx RIM Viewing 5.5, when the Windows Profile user was changed, the User Name field on the Login page retained the previously logged in user instead of appearing empty. This issue is resolved. When the same instance of the Calyx RIM Viewing 5.5 is opened and the Windows Profile user is changed to another one on the current machine, the User Name field now appears empty.

When viewing the Canada submission which included the parameters of version 2.2 within the parameters of version 1.0 in the Cumulative View, the Lifecycle Management Table leafs had no root folder and were presented as a rootless hierarchy up to the fourteenth leaf in the structure. The root folder appeared below containing the leafs starting with the fifteenth. This issue is resolved. All leafs are included in the 1.0 Correspondence > 1.0.2 Life Cycle Management Table root folder.

In Calyx RIM Viewing 5.5 (compared to Calyx RIM Viewing 5.4) the list of PDF properties displayed fewer than the complete list of available options in the Properties > Name section. This issue is resolved. The full PDF properties list is now available.

In Calyx RIM Viewing 5.4 when the user navigated to Server Settings > Configuration Settings and selected LDAP as the Authentication Mode, then selected Navigator and clicked the Application Name in the Navigator Search Results, in the Submission View the Application field was disabled and the Submission field displayed the wrong number instead of the current submission default value. Calyx RIM Viewing 5.5 CHF 3 resolves this issue:
  • The Application field is enabled and the user can select another value in the menu.
  • The Submission field displays the correct current default value.

When attempting to review PDF document content for some applications, the following error message would appear: "An error exists on this page. Acrobat may not display the page correctly. Please contact the person who created the PDF document to correct the problem." This was due to an Adobe Acrobat issue and has been resolved in Adobe Acrobat DC, supported with the release of Calyx RIM Viewing 5.5 CHF 3.
