The following enhancements, functional changes, and updates are included with this release.
Usability Enhancements
Calyx RIM Viewing
5.5 CHF 7 introduces the following improvements for better user experience:
- Ability to sort columns in ascending or descending order in each grid.
- Ability to rearrange columns and set column width on the Edit User and Edit Application pages. See: Sort Column Values, Reposition Columns, Column Width.
- Ability to filter the content in a grid using the column filters on the Edit User , Edit Application , Administrative Information pages. See Column Filters.
- All the grids on these pages below are extended to cover the whole page.

- The default number of items shown on pages is changed from 10 to 100 for all the grids.
- To support multi layered PDFs feature, the pdf.js library is updated to the latest 2.8 version.
- When the sort columns, reposition columns, set a column width, and page size actions are performed, the settings are automatically saved and remain for the Edit User and Edit Application pages until changes are made again.
Regulatory Updates
- Support for Taiwan eCTD Module 1 v1.1 (DTD 1.0)
- Support for US eCTD M 1 specification v.2.5, submission standards v.4.1.
Internet Explorer 11 Not Supported
Calyx RIM Viewing 5.5 CHF 7 no longer supports Internet Explorer 11 browser.
Out-of-the-Box Default Settings Changed
The default values for some of the properties that are defined in the config.xml file are changed. See Note for step 10 in Upgrade Calyx RIM Viewing.
