Configure a DMS

Liquent SmartLink for PDF can be configured with different Document Management Systems (DMS) for creating links.

There are two DMS types: controlled and uncontrolled. A controlled DMS has advanced features such as version control and workflow management.

To connect with a controlled DMS, you will need to configure some of the properties of your DMS for SmartLink for PDF using the DMS Properties dialog box.

Configure User Login for Documentum Repositories

To access a Documentum system, SmartLink for PDF users must have an established Windows Domain property on the User's Info page in the Documentum Administrator. The domain must be entered in the User Login Domain fields to log on to Documentum.
