Uninstall Linking plug-in (PDF)

If you have a previous version of Linking plug-in (PDF) on your machine, it must be uninstalled prior to installing the latest version.

Perform the steps below to uninstall Linking plug-in (PDF) from Adobe Acrobat.

  1. Confirm that Adobe Acrobat has been exited and is not running.
  2. Choose Start > Settings > Control Panel .
  3. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  4. Click SmartLink to select it and then click Remove.
  5. Click Yes to confirm uninstallation.
  6. Start Adobe Acrobat.
    The  plug-in is removed and no longer appears on the Acrobat menu bar or on the Advanced Editing toolbar.
