SmartLink for Word hyperlinks in Microsoft Word documents in a Documentum repository may fail as a result of the Microsoft Word default relative-path method of saving hyperlinks in documents. The default setting can be changed in Microsoft Word. To use absolute hyperlinks instead of relative hyperlinks, do the following for each affected document:
