Duplicate Documents

When attempting to link to a document in the Virtual Document Manager (VDM) in Documentum, if the VDM contains two instances of the same document, an error message appears: "Unable to browse for document to link to. Error code 8812". Removing one instance of the duplicate document, or making one of the instances a different version, resolves this issue and the link can be completed on the document. The documents can have the same name, but cannot be the same version.
