Liquent SmartDesk ® for Authoring is a template and authoring system that allows you to create submission ready CTD documents that will render and publish consistently. Liquent SmartDesk for Authoring provides the tools you need so that documents created by different authors share common styles and formatting.
Liquent SmartDesk for Authoring provides an interface for creating CTD and eCTD content from templates. Using Liquent SmartDesk for Authoring enables you to more easily control your content so you can produce quality rendered output.
Liquent SmartDesk for Authoring 3.2 includes Parexel Liquent SmartDesk for Authoring, Parexel CTD templates, and the Parexel Regulatory and Clinical Services Authoring Style Manual.
Parexel Liquent SmartDesk for Authoring provides easy access to the most commonly used Microsoft® Word functions such as inserting a table, figure, or special symbol. The functions that are used work in conjunction with predefined styles to ensure proper formatting, rendering, and publishing of your documents.
Parexel provides document templates for each node of the CTD outline, targeted to help you author documents at the correct granularity. The Regulatory and Clinical Services Authoring Style Manual provides you with a structure to promote a consistent document format throughout your corporation.

Liquent SmartDesk for Authoring 3.2 was designed and tested to operate with the Microsoft Word 2016. Using the application with other versions of Word, or in documents not based on the Parexel Liquent SmartDesk for Authoring templates, may generate errors due to missing styles in those other documents.
