SmartDesk for PDF 4.2 resolves the following issues:

598; [00057549] IntelliQC: When running IntelliQC, the UNC path associated with a mapped drive location was displayed in the Absolute Path and Relative Path fields, resulting in broken links being passed with Approved status . This issue is resolved.
597; [00057252] Bookmark Wizard: Documents with bookmark names longer than 100 characters crashed without warning. This issue is resolved.
594 Export and Import Bookmarks/Links: It is now possible to export or import web-links using a .csv file.
592 Link TouchUp: When the options Select Document(s) or Select Folder(s) were selected and then the option Cancel was clicked, the Page Range field became inactive. This issue is resolved.
591 Page Stamper: When page stamping, if a footer included more than one string, the value entered for From Bottom field was not applied. This issue is resolved.
590 Page Stamper: When page stamping, the values entered for From Left, From Top and Width fields were not applied. This issue is resolved.
589 Page Stamper: When creating a custom template, the value of the Page Number template was not applied. This issue is resolved.
587 Page Verifier: The aesthetic issue of the scroll bars in the Page Verifier window has been fixed in this release.
585 Optimize PDF: After a first password protected file is opened by entering a password, trying to open a second file did not prompt for a password. This issue is resolved.
584 Optimize PDF: When optimizing PDF, if multiple files were open, the changes made were applied only to the first opened file. The other open files were closed as soon as the optimizing process was complete. This issue is resolved.
582; [00054553] Page Stamper: The View/Display mode selected for a specific number of pages in a PDF document was not applied. This issue is resolved.
580; [00053773] Document Linker: When using Document Linker, the file extension ".pdf" was added to all non-PDF files. This issue is resolved.
579 PDFEnsemble: When the options under IntelliQC Synchronize were selected and the Rescan operation was performed, the files on the FontInfo tab were removed. This issue is resolved.
577 OCR Bookmark: It was not possible to create bookmarks for vertical orientation pages. It was also not possible to copy the text from vertical orientation pages to the clipboard. These issues are resolved.
575 QuickLinker: When the selection of the option Rectangle Visible was cleared, the Text Color under Custom Settings automatically changed to blue. This issue is resolved.
573 TOC Linker: When the Rectangle Visible option is selected in Global Link Settings, selecting the options Link Rectangle Visible or Use Default resulted in Adobe Acrobat abruptly crashing. This issue is resolved.
569 Page Verifier: Where there are files with the same name in the main and sub folders, Page Verifier incorrectly removed them from the list. This issue is resolved.
560 Page Verifier: After adding the files, if the quotes around the file names were modified or deleted and the Verify option was clicked, the PDF Page Verifier window went blank instead of display a message that the file name is incorrect. This issue is resolved.
558 Link TouchUp/Scale PDF: When processing a Link TouchUp or a Scale PDF operation for multiple files including the file currently open, Adobe Acrobat crashed or processed an incorrect operation. This issue is resolved.
556 QuickLinker: When Hide Details mode was selected, it was not possible to create links by entering the link destination under the address bar. This issue is resolved.
542 Merge: If the output folder path was changed after the input files were added, the merge operation failed and the files were found to be not merged. This issue is resolved.
540 PDF Optimize: When trying to optimize Read-only or Edit Password protected files, the message that the Read-only or Edit Password protected files cannot be optimized was not displayed. This issue is resolved.
539 PDF Optimize: When performing the optimization operation, if there were multiple Edit Password protected files, the file count that was displayed post optimization was incorrect. This issue is resolved.
538 Link Reference Stamper: When trying to stamp files that were Edit Password protected, inappropriate error messages were displayed. This issue is resolved.
513; [00044450] PDF Optimize: For documents with flowcharts, performing the optimization operation altered the position of the flowcharts in some instances. This issue is resolved.
438 Cross Linker: When an incomplete keyword was created, an error message was displayed. It was possible to select keywords while the error message was still being displayed. This issue is resolved.
431 QuickLinker: When the Action Type was External Links, it was not possible open a password protected file. This issue is resolved.
430 QuickLinker: After a keyword was selected using the Select Text option and the Find Next option was used to highlight all the occurrences of the keyword, clicking on the Link button failed to create links for the keywords. This issue is resolved.
427 QuickLinker: The typos in the error messages are fixed in this release.
426 Link Reference Stamper: It was not possible to select a new log file location using the browse button. This issue is resolved.
413 Reaction: After opening the Adobe Acrobat application, the Apply button on the Whole Page tab was active even before a document for redaction operation was selected. This issue is resolved.
411 TOC Linker: It was possible to apply TOC Linker changes to a password protected document. This issue is resolved.
407 Page Stamper: The Delete Header and Delete Footer buttons were enabled in the Page Stamper window even when no documents were opened in Adobe Acrobat. This issue is resolved.
406 Merge: After some input files were removed, the Up and Down options under Input were disabled. This issue is resolved.
404 Merge: In the Merge window, after files were removed using the Remove All option, clicking on New enabled the option Remove All. This issue is resolved.
388 OCR Bookmark: When a text that started with a special character was selected to create a bookmark, a bookmark without that first special character was created. This issue is resolved.
387 Delete Bookmarks: After bookmarks were deleted, the message confirming deletion was not displayed. This issue is resolved.
383 OCR Bookmark: When the OCR Bookmark window was open, closing the document in Adobe Acrobat did not close the OCR Bookmark window. This issue is resolved.
382 QuickLinker: Closing the QuickLinker window closed the Adobe Acrobat application. This issue is resolved.
377 Cross Linker; Unlinked Text: When opening a file using Ellipse button in the source document window, the respective Cross Linker and Unlinked Text windows minimized. This issue is resolved.
365 Import Bookmarks/Links: It was possible to import the bookmarks and links into a Read-only file. This issue is resolved.
364 Export Bookmarks/Links: It was possible to export the bookmarks and links of a Read-only file. This issue is resolved.
363 QuickLinker: For Read-only files, it was possible to use QuickLinker to create links. This issue is resolved.
362 Unlinked Text: It was possible to add and set the modifications of a Read-only file, although it was not possible to save the changes. This issue is resolved.
354 Merge: When files were merged with the same output file, the replace message was displayed as many times as the number of files being merged. This issue is resolved.
300 Page Stamper: When trying to apply Header or Footer, when the Header or Footer settings was the outside page size, an incorrect error message was displayed. This issue is resolved.
262 Page Verifier: The typo on the Page Verifier window has been rectified.
251 Bookmark Wizard: When the Create a back-up prior to processing checkbox was not selected on the Settings window, clicking the Cancel button and reopening the Settings window again selected the checkbox. This issue is resolved.
246 Clone/Unclone: Even when a document was selected from a mapped drive, the UNC path was displayed in the file path. This issue is resolved.
210 Split: For the Bookmark Level and Bookmark Name options, when browsing for an output folder, clicking the Cancel option resulted in the path that was displayed for the Output Folder option disappearing. This issue is resolved.
205 QuickLinker: After closing the QuickLinker window in the destination file, trying to open it in the source document resulted in the QuickLinker window opening in the destination file even though the source document was still in focus. This issue is resolved.
204 QuickLinker: For landscape documents, if the content was not upright, it was not possible to use the QuickLinker plug-in. This issue is resolved.
202 QuickLinker, Link TouchUp: The Default Settings for QuickLinker and Link TouchUp had to be selected to reflect the changes made through Global Link Settings. This issue is resolved.
200 Link TouchUp/Delete Bookmarks/Delete Links/Change Magnification: After files were processed, selecting the Select Documents option and then clicking on the Cancel button resulted in the OK/Delete/Apply buttons being disabled. This issue has been resolved.

Now, after files are processed, selecting files not already processed enables the OK/Delete/Apply buttons.

193 Split: The cosmetic issues related to the messages that appeared when using the E3 Headings option have been fixed.
181 Clone/Unclone: The following issues are resolved.
  • When performing the unclone operation for documents without bookmarks in the target PDF files, the successful message was displayed. This issue is resolved.
  • Trying to unclone the bookmarks with the same name was unsuccessful. This issue is resolved.
179 Link TouchUp: When performing a Link TouchUp process using the option Line Style - Dashed from the Default Settings or Custom Settings, the Line Style – Dashed did not reflect in the Adobe Acrobat Link Properties window. This issue is resolved.
176 Scale PDF/Delete Bookmarks/Delete Links/Change Magnification: When performing an operation on the read-only and open/edit password files, a message that the files were not processed was displayed even when the files were successfully processed. This issue is resolved.
175 Page Verifier: If the Bottom and Right margins failed when performing the verify operation, the Margins column in the Results-Page Level details window did not display the results. This issue is resolved.
172 Cross Linker: On the Modify/Duplicate Link Information window, the options World Wide Web Link or File was selected but the selection was cancelled using the Cancel button. However, on reopening the Modify/Duplicate Link Information window, the options World Wide Web Link or File was found to be selected. This issue is resolved.
160 Split: When output files were added by Bookmark level, the last page of the document was not considered in the page range. This issue is resolved.
152 Split: When loading a password protected file, a dialog box appeared instead of an error message. This issue is resolved.
151 Split: When adding files, the message displayed in the status bar has been revised to convey correct meaning.
149 Link Reference Stamper: When processing documents that contained only the named destination links, the message Processing page n of n was displayed under the status but the process never completed. This issue is resolved.
144 Clone/Unclone: In the Clone/Unclone Bookmarks window, when the option Convert Internal Bookmarks to External was selected, the Unclone Bookmarks option was enabled and selected. This issue is resolved.
132 Link Reference Stamper: When the Stamp icon was clicked without the files in the list for stamping were selected, no message was displayed. This issue is resolved. Now, a message is displayed stating the need to select the files for stamping.
131 Link Reference Stamper: The typo in the message that was displayed when the Link Reference Stamper process was completed has been addressed in this release.
129 Split: When adding output files by Bookmark Level, if there were no bookmarks in a file at the selected level, no message was displayed. This issue is resolved.
128 Split: When the list of output files added extended beyond the original size of the Split window, it was not possible to use the scroll bar to view those files that were not visible within the default Split window size. This issue is resolved.
126 Link TouchUp/Delete Links: When a file was selected and then the option Select Document(s) or Select Folder(s) was selected and immediately cancelled, the Pages Range showed only a value for the First Page and the Last Page was empty. Entering a value for the Last Page resulted in an error. This issue is resolved.
118 Link TouchUp: Text cosmetic issues in the log file have been corrected in this release.
114 Bookmark Wizard: When no files were loaded, the status bar displayed an inappropriate message. This issue is resolved. Now, the message 0 file(s) are selected is displayed.
110 Clone/Unclone: On completion of the cloning process, the success message that was displayed had a Warning icon. This issue is resolved.
108 Unlinked Text: When using the Find option, after all the matching text was found and the text color was changed, clicking on the Find again highlighted the text the color of which was already changed. This issue is resolved.
107 Unlinked Text: When searching for text using the Find option, after the last matching text is found, it was not possible to scroll down the page. This issue is resolved.
101 Unlinked Text: If the TOC Pages option was selected on the Unlinked Text window, as a default, the TOC Pages option continued to be selected when the Unlinked Text window was opened the next time. This issue is resolved.
99 Import Bookmarks/Links: When importing a .csv file that contained more links and bookmarks than the pages of the file into which it was being imported, an error message was displayed. The error message, however, lacked clarity. This issue is resolved.
81 Page Stamper: When applying a Header or a Footer when the value <Type your own text> was selected for both the Header or Footer text options but only one of them had a text entered, an error message was displayed. By clicking OK on the error message it was possible to stamp a Header or a Footer. This issue is resolved. Now, unless the value <None> is selected or a text is entered for the option <Type your own text>, it is not be possible to stamp a Header or a Footer.
80 TOC Linker: Trying to enter an Offset value when the TOC page pointed to the last page of a document resulted in a TOC Linker error. This issue is resolved.
50 Clone/Unclone: When an invalid bookmark value was entered in the Bookmark Find Title text field, an incorrect warning message was displayed. This issue is resolved.
58 Bookmark Wizard: After performing the bookmark process, the file copied to the folder BM-Wizard-backup did not have the time and date stamping. This issue is resolved.
53 Import Bookmarks and Links: When the value for Magnification was Custom, the log file did not display the file name. This issue is resolved.
27 PDFEnsemble: On the DocInfo tab Modify Document Information window, the Update check boxes were active even when the document information was edited. This issue is resolved. Now, the Update check boxes will become active only when the document information is edited.
18 The save changes dialog now includes the options Yes, No, and Cancel instead of OK and Cancel to approve, disapprove, or cancel the changes, respectively.
11 Import/Export: When imported or exported, the color of the links and bookmarks were not retained. This issue is resolved.
