Clarification of Behavior

This section describes functionality that has been reported as an issue, but is in fact working as designed.


Issue	Description
N/A	After clicking either the Publishing Tools > Split or the Publishing Tools > Merge plugins, an error message appears and working with Split or Merge is prevented. This is a Microsoft Windows 10 issue. It has been resolved by a Windows Update (Version: 1809 OS Build : 17763.475), and for Windows 10 Version 1903.
N/A	The message "`Document document_path is already opened in Acrobat. Close the existing document before proceeding.`" appears when the same document that is already open in Acrobat is attempted to be opened from another map drive via Select File in the Crosslinker, Redaction, Delete Bookmarks, Delete Links, Link TouchUp, PageVerifier, PageStamper, ScalePDF, or Unlinked Text plug-ins.
N/A	Attempts to add a document with the same path to a table twice is prevented in the Clone/Unclone bookmarks, Link Reference Stamper, PageVerifier, PDFEnsemble (DocInfo, IntelliQC, FontInfo), and PDF Optimizer plug-ins.
N/A	When an operation initiated in SmartDesk for PDF is in progress, you will not be able to use the SmartDesk for PDF plugins or the Adobe Acrobat application until the operation is complete.
N/A	While working with IntelliQC Link Rectangle Type option, to change the link rectangle type from Invisible Rectangle to Visible Rectangle, you must first set the link width.
611; [00060364]	Link TouchUp: When using the Link TouchUp tool, the document currently open will not be the active document by default. The Load Active Document option must be used before utilizing the features of the Link TouchUp tool on the current document. 454	In the IntelliQC window, deleting any Navigation item will disable the right-click options under Action column. To use the right-click options, a row must be selected first.
450	In the IntelliQC window, right-clicking on the Link Rectangle Type, Link Dimensions, Link Highlight, and Link Width fields will display their respective options even if the fields appear to be unavailable (dimmed). To use the right-click options, a row must be selected first.
346	Redaction: When redacting a whole page for the subsetted fonts, only the characters that are present in the text are redacted and replaced. For the embedded fonts, all the characters that are present in the character set are redacted and replaced.
