Use the following procedure to install
SmartDesk for PDF for the first time on your machine. If you are upgrading from a previous version of
SmartDesk for PDF, follow the instructions in the topic
Installing SmartDesk for PDF 4.2 Upgrade.

Disable any anti-virus protection programs.

Close all other applications.

Double-click on the
setup.exe
file.

When prompted, enter the serial number provided by
Parexel.

Follow the on-screen instructions in the SmartDesk for PDF Setup windows, clicking
Next
whenever you are ready to proceed to the next step.
When the process is complete, a message on your screen indicates that
SmartDesk for PDF is successfully installed.
