Splitting Documents Manually

To manually split the documents:

  1. Select SmartDesk > Publishing Tools > Split.
    The Split window opens.
  2. Select the document(s) for splitting using one of the following icons:
    • Load Active Document
    • Add File(s)
    • Add Folder
  3. The files are displayed under Input Folder. Select files by clicking on the rows under Input Folder and click on Add Output File.
    Details of the files are displayed under Output Folder.
  4. To modify the output folder path, output file name and/or page range, click on the corresponding cell and edit as required.
  5. Select the options Bookmarks and Links as required and click on Split.
