Using OCR Bookmarker

Details on using the OCR Bookmarker function.

The OCR Bookmarker tool consists of the following options:
  • OCR to Bookmark - The OCR to Bookmark feature is used to create bookmarks of the selected text in the document.
  • OCR to Clipboard - The OCR to Clipboard feature is used to copy the selected text to the clipboard and then use the copied text to rename bookmarks.
  1. Select SmartDesk > Link and Bookmark > Bookmark Tools > OCR Bookmarker.
  2. To use OCR to Bookmark:
    1. In the OCR Bookmarker window, select OCR to Bookmark option.
    2. Click Select Region and select the text. A bookmark is created for the selected text and is listed under the bookmark list.
  3. To use OCR to Clipboard:
    1. In the OCR Bookmarker window, select OCR to Clipboard option.
    2. Click Select Region and select the text. The selected text is copied to the clipboard.
    3. Right-click on a bookmark from the bookmark list and choose Rename. Right-click again and select Paste.
    The bookmark is renamed with the selected text.
