Add an Event-Country Status

If you have WRITE privileges for events, you can add an event-country status for an application event. When adding an event-country status you can also add the lead time, projected date, and actual date of occurrence.

Changes made to the event-country status schedule for one country do not affect the event-country status schedules for other countries associated with the event, or the timeline/event plan if one was used to create the event.

If you want to change the event-country status, actual dates, or projected dates for several countries at one time, use the Update Event Country Status wizard or the Update Event Country Status Projected Dates wizard.

To add an event-country status:
  1. View the event you want to modify.
  2. On the Countries tab, click the link for the country that has the status schedule that you want to modify.
The Event-Country Attributes page opens to the Status Dates tab.
  3. Click Create.
The Add Event Country Status page opens.
  4. Select the Event-Country Status that you want to add.
The list of available values is limited to those applicable to the event that have not already been added to the current schedule. Event-country status values are established by your data administrator.
Note: If the event was created from a timeline/event plan, you can only add optional statuses to the schedule. You cannot track projected dates and lead times for an optional status.
  5. Optionally, you can do any of the following:
    • Enter a lead time for the selected status.
    • Select an actual date for the event status.
Note: As the preceding step notes, a timeline/event plan that enforces status progression can restrict the event-country status. Such a timeline/event plan also restricts the dates from which you select the status date for a primary status after the first primary status. The dates from which you select are the date for the preceding primary status and later dates.
    • Select a projected date for the event status.
  6. Select a reason and enter comments for the reason.
  7. Save.
  8. Choose the applicable procedure to enter an electronic signature for entities:
