Modify DMS Server Attributes in Ennov InSight

You can modify the server settings for a document management system, if necessary.

To modify DMS server settings in Ennov InSight :

  1. Log on to Ennov InSight as an administrator.
  2. In the Ennov InSight menus, select: GoTo > Technical Administration. The Available Options for Technical Administration appear.
  3. In the Available Options list, click DMS Server Management.
  4. In the Servers view, click on the name of the server in the list.
  5. Modify the server settings, as needed:

— To remove the server from active use, click Deactivate.

— To change other server settings, modify the content of the available text boxes for the selected server. The available text boxes will vary according to the selected server or file system.

The names used for connecting DMS servers and repositories, except for file systems, secure file systems, and Veeva systems, are case-sensitive. When the name is case-sensitive, the uppercase or lowercase spelling of the name must be correct for the DMS to function correctly.

Modify DMS Repository Attributes

You can modify repository attributes to include appropriate values for a document management server..

To modify DMS repository settings in Ennov InSight :

  1. Log on to Ennov InSight as an administrator.
  2. In the Ennov InSight menus, select: GoTo > Technical Administration. The Available Options list for Technical Administration appears.
  3. In the Available Options list, click DMS Repository Management.
  4. In the Repositories view, click the name of a repository.
  5. Modify the repository settings as needed. — To deactivate a repository, click Deactivate.

— To activate a repository, click Activate.

— To change the repository settings, modify the content of the available text box(es) for the selected repository. The available attributes will vary according to the selected repository type.

The names used for connecting to DMS servers and repositories, except for secure file systems, and Veeva systems, are case-sensitive. Use the exact letter case for the names for the DMS to function correctly.
