Structured Product Labeling Files

Structured Product Labeling (SPL) files contain product labeling information in a structured XML format.

You can add these files to an assembly and specify whether they should be published in their native file format (.xml) or in PDF renditions. This includes the XML documents that reference style sheets, if the style sheets are located where they can be referenced by the XML.

You should place .spl files in a folder named SPL in the appropriate labeling folder according to the electronic labeling specification.
