Associate or Disassociate PDSs and Events

When creating a PDS, you are required to associate the newly created PDS with an event. However, after you create a PDS, allows you to associate an existing PDS with other events. Furthermore, you can disassociate an existing set of product details from an event for an application if the PDS was inadvertently associated with the event and you need to undo the association.

Keep in mind the following when you select an event for associating or disassociating a PDS:

• You can associate a PDS with more than one event.
• You cannot associate or disassociate a PDS if the event is associated with a project.
• The only PDSs available for association are those PDSs: 1) already created for other events under the same application as the selected event, and 2) where the related products are associated with the selected event.
• You can disassociate a PDS from an event only if: 1) the event is not the only event with which the PDS is associated, and 2) no changes were made to any of the PDS details for the selected event. If the event is the only event associated with the PDS, you cannot disassociate the PDS from the event. Instead, you must delete the PDS.
