Modify a PDS

You can modify a PDS for an open event.

You must have a PDM license with at least WRITE privileges and WRITE privileges for the PDS entity.You can modify a PDS:

  • By using the Manage PDS wizard.
  • Directly, by accessing an event.

To modify PDS attributes directly:

  1. Click a link for the event whose PDS you want to modify.
  2. On the Product Detail Sets tab, click the PDS to modify.
  3. On the Product Detail Set page, click Edit.The Modify Product Detail Set page appears.
  4. Enter or select changes to the PDS attributes.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Choose the applicable procedure to enter an electronic signature for entities:

When electronic signature is enabled
  1. Select a reason and enter comments for the reason.
  2. Select Save.
  3. Validate your identity by entering your user credentials in the dialog box.
