Add a Secure File System Repository to Calyx RIM
You can configure a Secure File system to work with Calyx RIM so you can retrieve documents from the repository.
To add a Secure File System repository to
Calyx RIM:
- Log on to Calyx RIM as an administrator.
- In the Calyx RIM menus, select: GoTo > Technical Administration.
- In the Available Options list, click DMS Repository Management.
- In the Repositories view, click on the Create icon.
- Open the Server Name list and select the File System.

In the
Name (Shared Folder Path) field, enter the full path to the
SecureFileSystem repository in your system.
The Active Flag default setting is Y, for active, so the repository is active as soon as it is added to Calyx RIM. DMS repositories can be deactivated or activated again at any time after configuration.
- To change the display name for the repository when it appears in the DMS browser window, enter a name in the optional Label field.

If you want to enable the
Calyx RIM users who can access the repository to force new renditions and extractions, in the
Force New Renditions and Extractions field, click
Yes.
Forcing new renditions and extractions means creating missing document renditions and extractions and overwriting document renditions and extractions in the repository.
- To allow repository access to defined users or groups or roles, select Yes from the Limit Access to Specific Users field.

Do the following:
- To permit access to specific users: In the Allow Selected Users section, select users in the Access Limited box and click the arrows (>>) to move them to the Access Allowed box.
- To permit access to specific groups: In the Allow Selected Groups section, select groups in the Access Limited box and click the arrows (>>) to move them to the Access Allowed box.
- To permit access to users with specific roles: In the Allow Selected Roles section, select roles in the Access Limited box and click the arrows (>>) to move them to the Access Allowed box.
- To save the new DMS repository settings, click Save.
