Add an OpenText Content Server Repository to LIQUENT InSight

You can configure an OpenText Content (Livelink) Server to connect with Calyx RIM so that you can access documents in the repository.

During configuration, keep in mind that the names used for connecting to OpenText Content servers and repositories are case-sensitive. When the name is case-sensitive, the uppercase or lowercase spelling of the name must be correct for the OpenText Content DMS to function correctly.

To add a OpenText Content Server repository to Calyx RIM:
  1. Log on to Calyx RIM as an administrator.
  2. In the Calyx RIM menus, select: GoTo > Technical Administration.
  3. In the Available Options list, click DMS Repository Management.
  4. In the Repositories view, click on the Create icon.
  5. Open the Server Name list and select the OpenText Content Server.
  6. In the Repository Name field, enter the name of the Livelink.

(Any unique name to identify this server in Calyx RIM. EXAMPLE: Livelink3.)

The Active Flag default setting is Y, for active, so the repository is active as soon as it is added to Calyx RIM. DMS repositories can be deactivated or activated again at any time after configuration.
  7. To change the display name for the repository when it appears in the DMS browser window, enter a name in the optional Label field.
  8. Provide repository credentials in the Repository User and Repository Password fields.
  9. If you want to enable the Calyx RIM users who can access the repository to force new renditions and extractions, in the Force New Renditions and Extractions field, click Yes.
Forcing new renditions and extractions means creating missing document renditions and extractions and overwriting document renditions and extractions in the repository.
  10. To allow repository access to defined users or groups or roles, select Yes from the Limit Access to Specific Users field.
  11. Do the following:
    • To permit access to specific users: In the Allow Selected Users section, select users in the Access Limited box and click the arrows (>>) to move them to the Access Allowed box.
    • To permit access to specific groups: In the Allow Selected Groups section, select groups  in the Access Limited box and click the arrows (>>) to move them to the Access Allowed box.
    • To permit access to users with specific roles: In the Allow Selected Roles section, select roles in the Access Limited box and click the arrows (>>) to move them to the Access Allowed box.
  12. To save the new DMS repository settings, click Save.
