Creating D2 Forms

D2 Integration provides the ability to create Forms according to the following rules:
  • When a Product Family is created in Calyx RIM, both a Product Registration Form and a Project Registration Form will be created within Documentum D2.
  • When an Application is created under a Product Family in Calyx RIM, a Regulatory Application Registration Form will be created within Documentum D2.
  • When a Sequence is created within a Product Family in Calyx RIM, a Submission Registration Form will be created within Documentum D2.
  • All forms (Product Registration Form, Project Registration Form, Regulatory Application Registration Form and Submission Registration Form) have external_system_attribute in the properties list.
  • All forms (Product Registration Form, Project Registration Form, Regulatory Application Registration Form and Submission Registration Form) are currently created in Active status in D2 as the required fields in D2 SDK are either equal or subset of the required fields in Calyx RIM 6.2 for that entity.
  • The flag for external_system_attribute, is always set to True.
  • The value for the external_system_attribute cannot be empty.
However, the Product Registration Form, Project Registration Form, RARF, and SARF are created only if the Product Family type is one of the following:
  • Pharmaceutical
  • Pharmaceutical-Medical Device
  • Any custom Product Family type that is mapped to the Pharmaceutical or Pharmaceutical-Medical Device internal type
  • Any Product Family type in Data Administration that is modified and mapped to any of the Pharmaceutical or Pharmaceutical-Medical Device internal type
The following Product Family types are not integrated for the creation of D2 Forms and are yet with Open Text Documentum:
  • Medical Device
  • Veterinary
  • Flu Vaccine
  • Any custom type that is mapped to Medical Device/Veterinary/Flu vaccine
Following are the existing InSight keys for the Product Family types:
  • FV = flu vaccine
  • P = pharmaceutical
  • MD = medical device
  • PMD = pharmaceutical-medical device
  • V = veterinary
Following are the existing InSight keys for the Custom Product Family types:
  • C(P) - any custom type mapped to the Pharmaceutical internal type
  • C(PMD) - any custom type mapped to the Pharmaceutical-Medical Device internal type
  • C(MD) - any custom type mapped to the Medical Device internal type
  • C(V) - any custom type mapped to the Veterinary internal type
  • C(FV) - any custom type mapped to the Flu Vaccine internal type

The following table describes the D2 Forms that are created/updated for different Product Family types and their related entities.

Product Family Y Y The Project Registration form and the Product Registration Form are created for a Product Family.

  • The RARF and SRF Forms are updated when you associate/disassociate a Product from an Application.
