Print Tabs on a Xerox Printer

You must disable the Edge Erase feature to print Tabs correctly on Xerox printers.

To correctly print tabs on a Xerox printer using a FreeFlow Controller, you must configure the controller appropriately.

Some Xerox DocuTech and Nuvera printers are shipped with the Edge Erase feature enabled. You must disable this feature to print Tabs correctly.

To turn off the Edge Erase feature:
  1. At the Xerox FreeFlow Controller, click Printer:Switches.
  2. Select the Edge Treatment Off option.
    • The Edge Treatment option must be set to Off before sending a print job containing tabs.
    • Ask your System Administrator to verify that the system is configured in this way.
