Reference Maintenance: Reference Values
| Value | Description |
|---|---|
| Reference Content | Content of the reference, such as meeting agenda or approval letter |
| Reference Participant | Who the reference was to or from, for example: agency/agency name, internal departments, affiliates, etc. |
| Reference Status | For example: planned, active, open, completed, etc. |
| Reference Type | For example: announcement, internal note or content received |
Note: Create reference types in the system before you create statuses, participants, and content. Statuses, participants, and content can only be associated with existing reference types.
Reference Content Attributes
To define a reference content value, enter values for the following attributes:

| Reference Content | Content of the Reference like meeting agenda or approval letter. Different content values show in the drop down for different reference types selected. Hyperlinked from the view screen. |
| Reference Type | The type of reference. Examples: Announcement, Note or Content Received. |
| Last User Updated | Defines by whom the Data Administration value was created/updated. By default, this option is read-only. It is populated automatically when updates were made to the table. |
| Last Changed Date | Defines when the Data Administration value was created/updated. By default, this option is read-only. It is populated automatically when updates were made to the table. |
| Active | Indicates if the entity is active or inactive. |
Reference Participant Attributes
To define a reference participant value, enter values for the following attributes:
| Attribute | Description |

| Reference Participant | Participant of the Reference such as who provided the content or who it was sent to. Different Participants show in the drop down for different reference types selected. |
| Reference Type | The type of reference. Examples: Announcement, Note or Content Received. |
| Last User Updated | Defines by whom the Data Administration value was created/updated. By default, this option is read-only. It is populated automatically when updates were made to the table. |
| Last Changed Date | Defines when the Data Administration value was created/updated. By default, this option is read-only. It is populated automatically when updates were made to the table. |
| Active | Indicates if the entity is active or inactive. |
