Maintain SPOR RMS Values

The SPOR Maintenance section in Data Administration includes the RMS Values lists and is designed to maintain the European Medicines Agency (EMA) SPOR service. Depending on the action you wish to perform, you can use this procedure to create, modify, activate, or deactivate an RMS Code Value.

You can modify an RMS Value in Data Administration.

To create or update an RMS Value:
  1. Choose Go To > Data Administration.
  2. Under SPOR Maintenance, click a link for which you want to add or modify a value.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To add a value, click the Create icon .
    • To modify a value, click the link for the value you want to modify.
  4. Enter the appropriate information in the boxes provided.
  5. You can activate or deactivate an RMS Value:
    • To make an active value inactive, click Deactivate.
    • To reactivate an inactivate value, click Activate.
  6. Click Save.

If the SPOR service has been enabled and configured through the appropriate options in the insightConfig.bat or insight.var files, the values from the EMA SPOR REST Server are loaded to the corresponding RMS Table. All values are loaded with Inactive status.

When you modify values after the first loading, during the next loading the entered values are overwritten with the values from EMA SPOR REST Server.
