Add a Documentum Repository to Calyx RIM

You can configure Calyx RIM to connect with a Documentum repository so you can access the documents in the repository.

During configuration, keep in mind that the names used for connecting to Documentum servers and repositories, are case-sensitive. When the name is case-sensitive, the uppercase or lowercase spelling of the name must be correct for the Documentum DMS to function correctly.
To add a Documentum repository to Calyx RIM:
  1. Log on as an administrator.
  2. In the menus, select: GoTo > Technical Administration.
  3. In the Available Options list, click DMS Repository Management.
  4. In the Repositories view, click the Create icon.
  5. Open the Server Name list and select the Documentum server.
  6. In the repository Name (Docbase) field, enter the name of the Documentum repository.
The Active Flag default setting is Y, for active, so the repository is active as soon as it is added. DMS repositories can be deactivated or activated again at any time after configuration.
  7. To change the display name for the repository when it appears in the DMS browser window, enter a name in the optional Label field.
  8. Provide repository credentials in the Repository User and Repository Password fields.
Note: System Administrator credentials are encrypted in the database. The passwords are saved encrypted if a repository is added or updated.
  9. If you want to enable the Calyx RIM users who can access the repository to force new renditions and extractions, in the Force New Renditions and Extractions field, click Yes.
Forcing new renditions and extractions means creating missing document renditions and extractions and overwriting document renditions and extractions in the repository.
  10. To allow repository access to defined users or groups or roles, select Yes from the Limit Access to Specific Users field.
  11. To provide access, do the following.
