Import Content Using Change Management

Note: This process is to be used for new installations of Calyx RIM for Analytics 6.2 only.
  1. Unzip the InSightForAnalytics.zip from the install media and copy the contents to the directory: install location\WebFOCUS_Express80\WebFocus\cm\import
  2. Log into WebFOCUS Express as the Express Administrator using the following link: http://localhost:25000/ibi_apps/ (if SSL is setup, this is https://localhost:25001/ibi_apps/)
    1. Select Reporting > Change Management > Import
    2. Right-click and select Import
  3. On the Import Package: analytics-security window, select Add New and Update Existing Resources, select Roles, Groups, Users & Import Rules On Resources, select Add/Replace for all that have this option. Click OK. On the Import Successful window, click OK.
  4. Right-click on analytics-reports and select Import.
  5. In the Change Management import window, under Content Resources, select Add New and Update Existing Resources. Under Security Resources, select Roles, Groups, Users, and Import Rules On Resources. Select the Add/Replace option for all selections. Click OK. On the Import Successful window, click OK.
  6. Right-click on analytics-portal, and select Import.
  7. In the Change Management import window, under Content Resources, select Add New and Update Existing Resources. Under Security Resources, select Roles, Groups, Users, and Import Rules On Resources. Select the Add/Replace option for all selections. Click OK. On the Import Successful window, click OK.
  8. Right-click on the Express node and select Refresh.
  9. Ensure that reports are visible.
  10. Verify that the only folders that are not hidden under Express are Dashboard, Guided ad hoc, Reports, and My Reports. Right-click on every folder and select Hide from the pop-up menu for the folders not listed.
