You can associate a manufacturing processing step with a PDS for a product.
To associate a processing step with a process:

In the PDS tree on the
Product Detail Set page, right-click the manufacturing process detail node under a
Manufacturing Process grouping node with which you want to associate a step and choose Add Step.
The
Add Step page appears in the right pane.

Enter values for the process step PDS attributes.

Save.

After associating a step, you can do the following:
- To associate material with the step, right-click the step node you added and choose
Add Material.
- To associate a function with the step, right-click the step node you added and choose
Add Function.
