Associate a Manufacturing Process

You can associate a manufacturing process to a PDS for a product.

To associate a manufacturing process:
  1. In the PDS tree on the Product Detail Set page, right-click the Manufacturing Process grouping node under the PDS detail with which you want to associate a process and choose Add Manufacturing Process.
    The Add Manufacturing Process page appears in the right pane.
  2. Enter values for the manufacturing process PDS attributes. 
  3. Save.
  4. After associating a manufacturing process, you can do the following:
    • To associate a processing step with the manufacturing process, right-click the manufacturing process node you added and choose Add Step.
    • To associate a function with the manufacturing process, right-click the manufacturing process node you added and choose Add Function.
