Move Tasks and Sub-tasks

You can move a task or sub-task from any entity to an event.  Calyx RIM moves the selected source task or source sub-task and all associated sub-tasks with any associated references and notifications to the selected event.

Note: You must have at least READ permission for the application country to perform this procedure. You cannot move a task or sub-task to a closed event. 
To move a task or sub-task:
  1. Navigate to the task or sub-task that you want to move.
    The Task Attributes page appears.
  2. On the Task Attributes page, click Move Task.
    The Move Task wizard opens to the Task Destination page.
  3. Select a destination for the task or sub-task.
  4. Click Next.
    The Enter Event Search Criteria page appears.
  5. On the Enter Event Search Criteria page, do the following:
    1. Select a product family type
    2. Select the product
    3. Select the application
  6. Click Next.
    The Select Event page opens, listing all applications with open events that meet the criteria selected in step 5.  
  7. Select the destination event.
  8. Click Next.
    A confirmation page opens, describing the action that will be taken.
  9. Choose the applicable procedure in the table below to enter an electronic signature in wizards:
    Scenario Steps
    When electronic signature and SSO are enabled
    1. In the confirmation page, select a reason and enter comments for the reason.
    2. Click Next.
    3. Validate your identity by entering your user credentials in the dialog box.
    When electronic signature is enabled and SSO is disabled
    1. Select a reason and enter comments for the reason.
    2. Enter user ID and password and click Next.
  10. Click Next.
    The Summary page confirms the action.
  11. On the Summary page, click Finish.
    You are returned to the view from which you invoked the Move Task wizard. Upon completion, the selected task or sub-task is moved to the selected destination event and removed from the source entity.
