Installation Using an Oracle Database Domain (Oracle Only)
Note: You must have already installed the 32-bit version of the Oracle version 12.2.0.1 client (Administrator) on the
Liquent InSight Rendering server. The 64-bit client will not work with
Liquent InSight Rendering.
Note: Due to a known Oracle issue, an "unable to connect" error can appear. Perform the following procedure to be able to connect.
- Select . Type cmd and press Enter.
- cd to the bin folder under the Oracle client installation path.
- At the prompt, type: regsvr32 oraoledb12.dll and press Enter. Select OK for the acknowledgment pop up.
- Type exit and press Enter to close the command prompt.
