Installing Internet Information Services (IIS)

How to install Internet Information Services for LIQUENT InSight Rendering

1. If the Before you begin screen is displayed, click Next.
2. In the Select installation type screen, select the Role-based or feature-based installation radio button and click Next.
3. In the Select destination server screen, select the Select a server from the server pool radio button, choose the desired server in the Server Pool list, and click Next.
4. In the Select server roles screen, add the following Roles: Application Server, File And Storage Services (should already be selected), Web Server (IIS) (if the Add features that are required for Web Server (IIS)? dialog displays, ensure the Include management tools checkbox is selected and click the Add Features button). Click Next.
5. In the Select features screen, select .NET Framework 4.5 Features and WoW64 Support (should already be selected) and click Next.
6. In the Application Server screen, click Next.
7. In the Select role services screen, add the following Role Services: .NET Framework 4.5, Web Server (IIS) Support (if the Add features that are required for Web Server (IIS)? dialog displays, ensure the Include management tools checkbox is selected and click the Add features button) and everything under and including Windows Process Activation Service Support (for any popup screen that displays asking for confirmation to install features, ensure the Include management tools checkbox is selected and click the Add features button) and select Windows Process Activation Service Support – HTTP Activation. Click Next.
8. In the Web Server Role (IIS) screen, click Next.
9. In the Select role services screen, leave the defaults and click Next.
10. In the Confirm installation selections screen, select the Restart the destination server automatically if required checkbox and click the Install button.
