Configure Microsoft Visio 2016

If you are not already logged in, login to the Liquent InSight Rendering Server as local administrator.

  1. Launch Microsoft Visio.
  2. In Microsoft Visio, click File > Options.
  3. Click General.
  4. Under User Interface options, set the ScreenTip style to Don't Show ScreenTips option.
  5. Under Start up options, clear the Show the Start screen when this application starts option.
  6. Click Proofing.
    • Under When correcting spelling in Microsoft Office programs, select the Ignore words that contain numbers option.
    • Under When correcting spelling in Visio, clear the Check spelling as you type option.
  7. Click Save and then under Save documents, clear the the following options:
    • Save AutoRecover information every
    • Prompt for document properties on first save
  8. Click Advanced.
  9. Under Save/Open, clear the following options:
    • Show file save warnings
    • Show file open warnings
  10. Click Trust Center.
    1. Under Microsoft Visio Trust Center, click Trust Center Settings.
    2. Click Privacy Options and then clear all options.
  11. Click File Block Settings and clear all Open and Save boxes.
  12. Select Message Bar, and then select Never show information about blocked content option.
  13. Select Macro Settings.
    1. Select Enable all macros option.
    2. Select Trust access to the VBA project object model option.
  14. Select ActiveX Settings.
    1. Select Enable all controls without restrictions and without prompting option.
    2. Clear Safe mode option.
  15. To close the Visio Options dialog box, click OK twice
  16. Close Microsoft Visio.
    If you are asked to save the changes to the document, select No.
