Install the Sharepoint Web Service (Sharepoint DMS Only)
- Login to the SharePoint server as the local administrator. If you run MSTSC, use the /admin switch.
- On the LIQUENT installation media, locate the LiquentSharePointServices folder and copy the installer to a local drive on the Sharepoint server.

To run the
Sharepoint Web Services installer, right-click
setup.exe, and select
Run as administrator and complete the installation.
Note: The installer creates an IIS website called LiquentSharepointServices.

After running the
LiquentSharePointServices installer:
- Click the Windows Start button.
- Go to Administrative Tools > Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager

Launch IIS Manager.
- Expand <Local Computer>, Sites.
- Select the LiquentSharepointServices site.

Double-click
Authentication
in the middle pane.
- Right-click Anonymous Authentication and select Disable.
- Right-click Windows Authentication and select Enable.

Select the
LiquentSharePointServices site. Right-click on
Authentication
and select
Basic Settings.
- If the Application pool is not Sharepoint (usually Sharepoint – 80), click Select and choose your Sharepoint application pool.
- Click OK.

Expand
LiquentSharepointServices
and select the
DMSSharepointServices Virtual Directory.
- Double-click Authentication (in the pane in the middle).
- Right-click Anonymous Authentication and select Disable.
- Right-click Windows Authentication and select Enable.

Select the
DMSSharePointServices
virtual directory. Right-click on
Authentication
and do the following:
- Select Basic Settings.
- If the Application pool is not Sharepoint (usually Sharepoint – 80), click Select and choose your Sharepoint application pool.
- Click OK.
- Select the LiquentSharepointServices web site and select Restart in the right pane.
- Close the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager window.
- To check that everything is correctly configured, launch the following URL in a browser: http://machine_name:2861/DMSSharePointServices/dmssharepointservices.svc
