Confirming User Account Control is Disabled (UAC)
To confirm User Account Control is disabled:
- Select
- Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\system.
- Double-click EnableLUA
- Set the value to 0, and select Enter
- Close the registry editor
- Restart the system
