Available Roles
As a Calyx RIM Viewing user you can perform different functions based on the role.
The table below lists the different roles and its capabilities.
| Role | Description |

| Administrator | Users with the role Administrator perform administrative functions through the web-based Calyx RIM Viewing. Administrators can add/edit applications, add/edit user, add/edit repositories, add/edit application groups, and add/edit user groups. Administrators can set permissions to grant user access to applications and/or submissions. Administrators can create Public or Personal comments, transfer, update, and re-open other types of comments, and purge comments. |
| Publisher | Users with the role Publisher can update and close all types of comments. However, they cannot create Private comments. |
| Reviewer | Users with the role Reviewer can create and update all types of comments. However, they cannot close Private and Public comments. |
| Submission Manager | Users with the role Submission Manager can perform the operations of the Publisher. A Submission Manager will also have all the privileges relating to the adding, editing, and deleting of applications. |
| Restricted Reviewer | Users with the role Restricted Reviewer can perform the basic functions of the Reviewers, but have certain limitations, such as the inability to save and print the PDF files. |
