Create Links Based on Search Criteria

Use the Link and Bookmark Manager to create and modify hyperlinks.

Once you have defined the criteria in a rules list for searching a PDF, you can create hyperlinks in a PDF based on the search criteria.
To create hyperlinks:
  1. After establishing your search criteria rules list, click Search.
    The search results appear in the Link and Bookmark Manager dialog box. These links are now present in the PDF, but not preserved until you save the document.
  2. If necessary, you can edit the hyperlinks from within the Link and Bookmark Manager dialog box.
  3. To save your changes, do one of the following:
    Condition Action
    If you opened the PDF from a file system or DMS Click File > Save in Acrobat.
    If you invoked link editing for an in-process PDF rendition from Calyx RIM See Save In-Process Rendition Changes to InSight.
