SmartLink for Word 1.8 resolves the following issues:

External links created by Liquent SmartLink for Word were not working because they were being linked to a document on a local drive.. This issue is resolved. Users will not be permitted to map to a local drive; the link must go to a document on a mapped network drive. |

After installing Documentum Foundation Classes (DFC) to a folder other than the default (C:\Documentum) and then launching Liquent SmartLink for Word using the Documentum Webtop client, SmartLink for Word would not work. This issue has been resolved by properly defining the CLASSPATH environment variable in the registry. Please refer to Installing SmartLink for Word on this site, or the IQ script if you have installed the DFC to a non-default folder. |
