Document Indexing With Window

To insert a document table of contents, list of tables, or list of figures using the SmartDesk window:
  1. Place the insertion point in the document at the desired location.
  2. On the Document tab, select the Index to insert into the document.
    Any combination may be selected and the indexes will be inserted into the document in the order represented on the screen.
    • Table of Contents – inserts a list of the headings present within the document and respective page references
    • List of Tables – inserts a list of the table titles present within the document and respective page references
    • List of Figures – inserts a list of the figure titles present within the document and respective page references
  3. On the Document tab, click Insert.
