You can delete an active ingredient from a component if necessary.
To delete an active ingredient from a component:

Navigate to the active ingredient associated with a component.

Click the link for the active ingredient you want to delete.
The
Active Ingredient Attributes page opens.

On the Active Ingredient Attributes page,
Delete.

When you are prompted to confirm the deletion, click
OK.
Note: If there are any reference active ingredients associated to an active ingredient under a component, they will be deleted with the parent active ingredient.
