Concerned Parties

Concerned parties (on the Mail Settings page) comprise e-mail addresses, user IDs, and groups to which an e-mail should be sent when a notification is triggered.

You can include concerned parties associated with any entity that falls in the hierarchy of the entity for which you are creating the notification. The e-mail addresses/user IDs/groups are not displayed in the selection list.

For example, if the notification is associated with a task and the parent/associated entity you select in the wizard is product family, the list of concerned parties includes the following: task concerned parties and product family concerned parties.

If the notification is associated with an event entity, the list of concerned parties includes the following: event concerned parties, application concerned parties, and product family concerned parties.
