Notification Specifications

Creating a notification will produce a notification specification in the system.

This is a set of predefined criteria used to create notifications automatically when the criteria in the specification is met. Notification specifications apply to all instances of the associated entity that satisfy the criteria mentioned in the specification. For example, if the specification is for product families, it applies to all product families that meet the specification criteria. Alternatively, a notification, whether created automatically by Ennov InSight or with the Create Notification wizard, applies only to the instance of the entity with which it is associated.
