Maintain a Product Detail Set Value

You can create and modify product detail set values in Data Administration.

To create or modify a product detail set value:
  1. Choose Go To > Data Administration.
  2. Under Product Detail Set Maintenance, click the link for which you want to add or modify a value.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To add a value, click the Create icon .
    • To modify a value, click the link for the value you want to maintain.
  4. Enter the appropriate information in the boxes provided.
  5. Do one of the following:
    • To deactivate the value, click Deactivate.
    • To reactivate a deactivated value, click Activate.
  6. Click Save.
    Note: To hide a manufacturer value from the selection lists when associating a manufacturer with a specific PDS detail, for example, a specific active ingredient or excipient, it is necessary to deactivate the specific detail that is associated with the manufacturer. Deactivating only the manufacturer value will not prevent it from being available for selection in the PDS.
