How Rendition Identifier Values Are Used

You can specify the rendition identifier value for a non-default rendition to be used for publishing jobs. You can set this value in Publishing Settings Library Templates (PLT) and Assembly Specific Publishing Settings Libraries (APL). On the Publishing Settings tab, the Default Rendition Identifier option lists the rendition identifier values configured in Data Administration. See: Publishing Settings in Liquent InSight Publisher.

Rendition Identifiers are also used for Registration Attachment entities. When the value is set on the Registration Attachment Attributes page, it enables the use of the existed rendition file in DMS, instead of the source file, during the submission creation via the XEVMPD Submission wizard.

Note: It is recommended that you do not use the same rendition identifier for two different document formats for Documentum rendition.
